الفرق بين surprised و shocked
1/ surprise
something not expected but it is a positive thing ( a gift ) .
تأتي كلمة surprise بمعني مفاجأة في المواقف الإيجابية والسعيدة ...
EX. she has surprised me with a very beautiful gift yesterday .
* to be surprised when some one gives you a gift .
note : ( surprise ) can either be a positive or negative piece of unexpected news .
2/ shock
something not expected but it is a negative thing ( a disaster ) .
تأتي كلمة shock بمعني مفاجأة في المواقف السلبية او الحزينة مثل الحوادث او الكوارث او وفاة شخص ما ...
EX. i have been shocked when i heard that he passed away.
* to be shocked when someone passed away .
